FAQ’s

Microneedling

How does it work +

Microneedling creates microscopic breaks below the skin’s surface to stimulate your body’s natural healing factors and form new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, fade scars and stretch marks, and tighten sagging skin. The channels made by the microneedles also allow topical serums to absorb more effectively into the top layer of your skin.

What can I expect during the treatment +

Microneedling is a simple treatment. The skin is first cleansed and treated with a topical numbing cream to minimize any discomfort. The procedure then takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on the area treated. Some pressure sensations may be felt, but they aren’t painful.

What are the results +

Your skin will typically be red for 24-48 hours, similar to a sunburn. Your skin may also feel flushed, tight, and itchy for the first 24 hours. It can take between 6-8 weeks before visible signs of skin regeneration to be seen, but the regeneration will continue to evolve over time. Although a single treatment can provide noticeable results, a series of 2-3 treatments spaced by 6-8 weeks is recommended for ATOMIC results.

Is it safe +

Microneedling is completely safe! There is no risk of scarring or permanent color changes to your skin.
